We had a very busy and eventful October here in Chicago! As most of you know, Nolan had his first accident and sliced his cheek open on the bathroom stool. He was so brave throughout his trip to the ER and getting stitches. It was a very dramatic event for all of us, but he is healing very nicely! We also had a visit from Grammy and Grandad as well as Nana and Papa. They were both wonderful weekends! We are extremely lucky to have such wonderful families that come and visit often! The kids are really growing up fast. Manoa is now 8 months old and is becoming more mobile. Nolan is not too thrilled about her getting into his toys but he is having fun interacting with her more. He loves to make here laugh and he can just look at her and she beams with excitement. They are adorable together. They are sure to have many more fun years ahead. We had our last bit of warm weather here in Chicago so we took advantage of it and headed outdoors to play in the leaves. We also took a trip on the train into downtown Chicago to visit Grant Park. October ended with a very fun Halloween for the kids as well as Josh and I.

Apple Picking Fun!
We celebrated the beginning of Fall with our annual Apple Picking adventure. This year we traveled to Indiana to pick apples at the County Line Orchard. This was Manoa's first apple picking trip and she had a blast! She got her first taste of an apple and she wasn't letting go! Nolan had a great time riding the Moo Choo Train with daddy and even fed a goat! We picked loads of apples and are now enjoying all of the apple deserts mommy is making!
